Students in Grade 2 went on an exciting trip to visit Mountsberg Conservation Area! In conjunction with their upcoming unit on “Sharing the Planet”, students participated in a program entitled “Exploring Animal Life.
Grade 1 students explored the far-reaching traditions of mask making across a variety of cultures, with a spotlight on Indigenous masks of Canada at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto.
To support their current “Structures and Mechanisms” unit in Science, Grade 8 students participated in a workshop by Scientists in School entitled “Systems at Work”.
On Saturday, October 5, our MacLachlan College debaters went to St. Clement’s School in Toronto to participate in the 2019 Fall Fulford Debate.
Grade 6 students participated in a guided tour in Toronto examining two of the most interesting and diverse communities; Kensington Market and Chinatown.
Yesterday our MAC students and staff volunteered at the Nutrience Oakville Half Marathon! Everyone had a memorable and enjoyable morning distributing water and recovery beverages to runners and enthusiastically cheering them on.

Our MAC Round Square delegates spent their morning exploring more of the deep history of Madhya Pradesh and visiting Maheswar, a historic fort and home of some of the best weavers in India.
Our U12 Soccer Team traveled to Pine Glen Soccer Centre for their tournament. Students in Grades 5 and 6 gathered proudly on the field to play against 5 teams from their pool.
Our MAC group spent their culture day at the historic site of Mandu, experiencing first hand the stunning vistas and ancient ruins during a sightseeing tour of the area.
