Leadership and Teamwork on the Bruce Trail

Students in Grades 9 and 10 visited the Forks of the Credit Provincial Park to embark on a day hike on the Bruce Trail.

Students practised using camp stoves, water purification pumps, and setting up tents and sleeping bags in preparation for longer, more intense hikes. These hiking expeditions, which are part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, are designed to provide students with leadership opportunities by allowing them to learn from new experiences and discover latent strengths and talents.
