Environmental Stewardship at the RBG!

Our Grade 9 Science classes took a trip to the Royal Botanical Gardens to enhance their unit on sustainable ecosystems. In the morning they became stewards of the environment by removing invasive species from their habitat. In the afternoon they participated in a hike around Cootes Paradise to learn more about species at risk and engaged in a simulation to discover how the population of turtles has declined.
