Reach for the Stars
Gr.6 students visited the Ontario Science Centre in connection to their ‘Reach for the Stars’ unit. Students spent the morning exploring the space exhibit, learning about black holes, meteors, stars and many other things in our universe.
After lunch, students had the opportunity to participate in the Challenger Mission: Return to the Moon, where students were able to simulate a mission to the moon. Students worked in mission control, and on the space shuttle to ensure the mission happened as safely and efficiently as possible. Another excellent experiential learning trip!
