Grade 11 & 12 Physics Students Soar to New Heights at iFly

12/17/2024

Grade 11 and 12 Physics classes had an unforgettable experience at Oakville’s iFly facility, where they got to experience terminal velocity firsthand!

Students observed a live physics demonstration in the wind tunnel, participated in an experiment on parachute parameters and flight performance, and then received flying instruction and safety training. Each student had the chance to fly with one-on-one supervision from a certified instructor.

It was an amazing hands-on learning experience, combining physics with adrenaline!
