MacLachlan College is more than a school. It is a dynamic and inclusive community where teachers guide and facilitate learning by creating real world connections and a growth mindset is nurtured in every student. The rigorous academic program is supported by our active and collaborative learning environment, resulting in successful and resilient students who are well prepared for future success in today’s ever-changing world.
Since its founding in 1978 by Audrey Hadfield, MacLachlan College has operated with her vision at heart. She had a profound belief that every child is unique and that educators should be intensely aware of the individual requirements that were special to them. This set her on a course of innovation within the educational sector and it is a course from which we have never, and will never, veer.
We know that to prepare future-ready individuals we must share and instill common values throughout the entire school community and permeate all of our activities with a core set of values.
