Building Bridges Across Generations

As we embrace the fresh opportunities this year has to offer, I am beyond thrilled to share some exciting news about an incredible event that’s about to unfold at MacLachlan College. On February 19th, we will be hosting our first-ever Leadership Conference, a transformative day where alumni return to campus not just to visit, but to mentor and inspire our current students.. Although we are now in a brand-new facility, the spirit of MacLachlan College remains unchanged. The dreams, aspirations, and pathways that define our students are as vibrant and ambitious as ever as they navigate their post-secondary plans and dream big about their futures.

On February 19th, we will be hosting our first-ever Leadership Conference, a transformative day where alumni return to campus not just to visit, but to mentor and inspire our current students.. Although we are now in a brand-new facility, the spirit of MacLachlan College remains unchanged. The dreams, aspirations, and pathways that define our students are as vibrant and ambitious as ever as they navigate their post-secondary plans and dream big about their futures.
This Leadership Conference isn’t just an event—it’s a celebration of mentorship, community, and the power of supportive networks. Our alumni, many of whom once walked the halls of MacLachlan College with their own dreams and uncertainties, are stepping into the roles they might have wished for when they were younger. They’re offering guidance, sharing their journeys, and most importantly, showing our students that they’re never alone on the path ahead.
We know how pivotal mentorship can be during transformative life stages. A simple conversation with someone who has "been there" can spark clarity, confidence, and courage. By building connections between alumni and students, we’re fostering a network that encourages growth, resilience, and shared wisdom—qualities that define the MacLachlan spirit.
But the celebration doesn’t stop there! Following the Leadership Conference, we’ll be continuing the day’s energy and enthusiasm with an Alumni Ball Hockey Tournament. This tournament is more than just a game—it’s an opportunity to unite generations of the MacLachlan family for a day of laughter, camaraderie, and friendly competition. With an incredible turnout expected for both the conference and the tournament, it’s shaping up to be a beautiful day of connection and community.
Seeing alumni and current students come together to share stories, ideas, and memories reminds us why MacLachlan College is so special. It’s about more than academics; it’s about creating lifelong relationships and a sense of belonging that continues long after graduation.
Whether it’s watching an alumnus inspire a student to explore a new career path, or cheering on teams at the ball hockey tournament, this day will be a testament to the strength of our shared history and the bright future we’re building together.
We are so grateful to everyone who’s made this event possible—from our alumni mentors to our dedicated planning team—and we can’t wait to see this dream become a reality.
