Kara Yamich

I am a co-founder at Couture Media, a Montreal company that designs custom music playlists for large North American brands....we pick the songs that play in hotels, restaurants, grocery and retail stores to enhance the brand's connection with their customers. Although I thought I would study medicine, I turned my passion for making 'mixed tapes' into a creative business!

I headed off to Montreal to get my Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University. I also graduated with a minor in Music History, since music was always a passion of mine. It proved useful for my subsequent career in radio and retail audio.

My favourite memory of MacLachlan is the wonderful teaching staff and the life-long friendships that I made. I am still best friends with Corina, whom I met in grade 9. Thanks to the small class sizes we were all very close, and remain so to this day.
